ECHO.1 wins Multiple Awards and Commendations at UDIA, Sustainability Awards and VPDA

ECHO.1 was honoured to have received the 2025 UDIA Awards in the categories of Boutique Development and Sustainability amongst a highly competitive field of other excellent development projects.

This reflects the growing interest and importance placed upon building performance and sustainability, as the industry continues to grapple with delivering quality and affordable housing solutions amongst challenging economic conditions in Victoria.

ECHO.1 was also received a highly commended recognition at the 2025 Sustainability Awards and a finalist in the prestigious Victorian Premier Design Awards. In both cases, it was the only commercial Build-to-Sell project in the multi-residential category. While it is challenging to deliver truly sustainable outcomes based on the Passivhaus standard while generating financial returns, we believe it is possible and necessary to continue with similar projects.
