The light brick masonry presents confidently and elegantly to the street, with subtle angles drawing the eye. The pitched white metal roof features clean lines, with articulation from dormer windows punctuating the northern slope.
Materials have been carefully considered throughout. ECHO.1 uses Durra Panel as continuous external insulation – a natural, carbon-negative compressed straw product manufactured in Bendigo. Carbon-neutral white bricks and a cool roof reflect heat, reducing urban heat island effects.
The form is divided, allowing light and landscape opportunities midway through the site. Distinctive sightlines and landscaping ensure each townhouse has a unique and distinctive identity. It’s a highly optimised design with subtle architectural flair.
