How else are we helping to minimise energy use?

Solar Photovoltaics
The low energy consumption baseline of Passivhaus will be partially supplied by individual unit renewable energy generation via rooftop solar. Over the course of a year, the energy generated has the potential to fully offset all energy consumed in the unit, subject to occupant behaviour. A battery is included to store and fully utilise unused solar power generation, leading to the potential of off-grid operations.

EV Charging
Infrastructure for easy installation of future EV chargers are provided, potentially reducing the occupant’s fossil fuel consumption to a negligible amount. With an abundance of EV models due to be launched this decade by all major car manufacturers, the convenience of dedicated private charging should no longer be an option.
